Meet the team

Jo Sarsby

Jo established Jo Sarsby Management (JSM) in 2004 and over the last 20 years the business has gone from strength to strength. It now represents some of the world’s best factual entertainment talent who have expertise in natural history, history, science, astronomy, climate change and archaeology, to name a few. 

Prior to JSM, Jo worked for a variety of blue-chip broadcasters, making high-end factual television. She was involved in some of television's most exciting, award-winning wildlife and documentary programme production.

Haley Miles

Haley is an experienced Talent Agent with a wealth of expertise in the factual entertainment industry. 

Having worked alongside Jo for almost 17 years, Haley has been involved in all aspects of ‘Jo Sarsby Management’ – from tours, to talks to television – and has played a pivotal role in the growth of the business.

She currently leads on corporate partnerships, digital and brand development, and overseas our busy Events Team, who manage all our speaker bookings.  

 

Robyn Thorpe

Robyn is an accomplished Talent Agent who works closely with production companies and broadcast networks, to manage our clients’ extensive TV, radio, and podcast commitments. Brilliantly organised, she also helps to manage systems, workflows, and productivity within the office.  

Having trained as an actress, and worked in theatre, Robyn has been on the client side of agency life – an insight which inspires her to provide the best possible service. 

Away from the office, Robyn loves taking long hikes with her cocker spaniel Maggie – who also makes regular appearance at JSM HQ.

Ulrica Vilen-Letts

Ulrica manages live theatre tours across the UK for all clients. She joins us from an independent television production company where she worked as a production secretary and researcher - creating factual entertainment and natural history.

She qualified as a safari guide while living and working in South Africa, and also worked in Australia. Prior to this, she completed a degree in media and environmental communications.

Ulrica has a keen interest in UK wildlife; loves walking, camping and hiking, and is actively developing her knitting skills.

 

Tam Pearce

Tam is a qualified accountant and manages the finances for Jo Sarsby Management.

She previously worked in a top 20 firm of accountants for 15 years as both a Business Services Manager, assisting SMEs with their accounting and taxation and a Forensic Accounting Manager, dealing with a variety of civil and criminal cases. Tam is a fellowship member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts and Association of Accounting Technicians. 

To relax Tam enjoys reading crime, thriller and Sci-fi novels. She also has an extensive Lego collection which she spends hours building and dismantling.

Penny Godfrey

Penny is a Marketing, PR and Comms professional with extensive digital marketing, social media and communications experience.

The last 15 years have been spent in the education sector, managing internal and external comms, running events, and public relations. In addition, Penny provided marketing consultancy services for an international leadership programme – which rolled out to businesses, universities, and schools around the world. 

In recent years, she developed and led high-impact, humanitarian expeditions to Nepal and Morocco. A keen traveller, when not ‘on the road’, Penny is usually in her garden in South Somerset.

 

Lucy Constable 

Lucy brings a wealth of experience to the Events Department at JSM, having achieved a first-class honours degree in Event Management.

She started her career as an Events Co-ordinator, before working freelance for several high-profile UK festivals - with specific responsibility for ensuring the sustainability of these events.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys yoga, cooking and spending time outside.
