Iszi is a regular on BBC Radio 4. She co-presents Your Place or Mine with Shaun Keaveny, recorded Making History with Tom Holland, and presents The Forum on BBC World Service.

Iszi is a highly knowledgeable, experienced and well-respected speaker, and has spoken at countless festivals including The Dublin Literary Fest, Hay Festival and Jersey Festival of Words. Her humour, sense of fun and immense historical knowledge make her a popular speaker for schools and colleges. Iszi has chaired panels at The British Library, British Museum and British Science Festival.
Iszi has also presented award shows and celebratory events such as The Museum Heritage Awards and The Annual Ethical Gala at the Conway Hall. She has also spoken for The British Humanists, and at QED conferences.
Comedian
As a comedian, Iszi has appeared at numerous international comedy festivals solo. She has also performed as part of a Perrier Award Winning Best Newcomer show at the Edinburgh Fringe. Iszi headlines art centres and hosts comedy nights across the country, and is a regular MC for The Progress Theatre comedy nights in Reading.
Iszi has also created and featured in bespoke comedy events for venues such as Southwark Cathedral, the Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Ashmolean Museum.

Iszi is a prolific writer of children’s historical fiction and prides herself on historical accuracy within her work.
Iszi’s novel Blackbeard’s Treasure (aimed at 9-12 year olds) was Blackwell’s Children’s Book of the Month in 2023, and her series Time Machine Next Door (aimed at 6-9 year olds) is being used in Key Stage 2 classrooms across the UK.
Two of her most recent novels include City of Spies (2024), set during the American Revolutionary War, and The Cursed Tomb, (aimed at 9-12 year olds) an Ancient Egyptian tomb raiding adventure set in 1249 BCE.
