Having graduated as a Marine Biologist, Tooni worked on freshwater/marine expeditions and diving trips in Tanzania, Mozambique and Malawi as both expedition leader and scientific co-ordinator. Her expertise in this field led her initially to work on television productions behind the camera, including camera assistant roles on drama documentaries.
Having just completed her Masters in Oceanography, the next 18 months, sees Tooni working in front of the camera, co-presenting on the BBC’s much-anticipated, new landmark series Oceans.
