Environmental Scientist & TV Presenter
Tara was one of the presenters on BBC1’s epic adventure Expedition Borneo where she joined the expedition team to explore previously uncharted territory in search of new wildlife species. She also presented the acclaimed BBC2 series Lost Crocodiles of the Pharaohs – a personal journey exploring Tara’s own discovery of crocodiles in Mauritania, where the experts said they could not exist.
Having lived and worked in some of the most challenging corners of the World, from the searing heat of the Western Sahara to the freezing tundra of the Gobi, Tara’s extensive and varied background in environmental science and natural resource management, make her a truly unique talent.
Tara also works conducting international negotiations on climate change and biodiversity for the European Union making her a highly knowledgeable speaker in these fields.
