Paul's new veterinary show for the BBC; Junior Vets, is currently transmitting on CBBC. Paul Manktelow is a veterinary surgeon, TV presenter and motivational speaker.
Paul’s TV work includes “Help! My Dog’s As Fat As Me”, “Bizarre Animal ER” and the hit Channel 4 series “Animal Madhouse”. His TV work has lead to recruitment as a motivational and inspirational speaker for schools across the UK.
Recently Paul has appeared on high profile TV shows such as The One Show, GMTV, 5 O’Clock News and notably The 5 O’Clock Show as the resident vet. He is quickly gaining notoriety for being one of the UK’s leading vets.
Paul achieved a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery, along with a Masters degree in Wild Animal Health and a GP certificate in Ophthalmology. He has worked for the PDSA since September 2003 where he is now head vet, treating a wide range of animal conditions.
