Kathriona Devereux

Kathriona has recently finished filming an exciting new travel documentary called Small World for RTE. She travelled to central Brazil to tell the story of Brazilian immigrants who have returned to Brazil after years of living in Ireland.

Kathriona has been busy researching and producing science and travel shows and Small Worldmarks her return in front of the camera.

In Ireland Kathriona is best known for Scope, an entertainment science show. Over 4 years and 50 episodes, Kathriona travelled all over the world meeting scientists and taking part in outrageous experiments such as wing-walking.

With her enthusiasm and natural Irish charm, Kathriona is a great MC and has worked for a large number of corporate clients including BT Ireland and Hewlett Packard and co-hosted the BT Young Scientist Awards.

In addition to her TV work, Kathriona completed an MSc in Science Communication in 2010 and her thesis was an investigation of Irish science, technology and innovation policy.
