Featured on The Sunday Times list of 100 fastest growing companies and winner of The Observer Awards for ‘Best ethical business’, Riverford Organics is the product of Guy Watson’s ambition to provide locally sourced, organic food to his community. Giles Coren described his meal at Riverford as ‘the lunch of my life’ and Hartley’s Field Kitchen on the road has appeared at many festivals across the country.

Guy grew up on Riverford Farm in Devon and left his job as a management consultant in London and New York to pursue farming in his home county in 1986. Growing from a small three acre area, Riverford has become a £30million business employing 400 staff. Winner of the Soil Association’s ‘Business person of the year’, Guy’s enthusiasm for collaboration and coordination across the country is reflected in its cooperative ownership and will always be owned by those who work for it.

Guy is a popular public speaker, has featured on BBC’s The Food Programmeand would be a perfect choice for food and agricultural programmes.
