On the final leg of this mission, Liz Bonnin and a team of scientific experts look at what the future holds for the Galapagos and the human impact on these islands. The team scan a spectacular lava cave, track giant tortoises and dive into the deep blue waters to witness the birth of a brand new island. By bringing together the findings of their scientific research they hope to find a way of protecting Galapagos' future.
