Mark is currently filming the Last Chance to See Special Report: Rhino Rescue. In addition to his TV work, Mark will also be giving a series of ‘Last Chance to See’ lectures throughout the country.
Mark’s recent TV work includes the six-part BBC2 series Last Chance to See (2009), which he co-presented alongside Stephen Fry. Mark also co-presented BBC2’s Museum of Life (2010) and regularly reports for Countryfile, Inside Out and, most recently, The One Show.
A well-known radio broadcaster, Mark presented the weekly half-hour radio show Nature on BBC Radio 4 for many years as well as providing the daily ‘Environment News’ bulletin for Steve Wright in the Afternoon, on BBC Radio 1.
As a gifted writer Mark has published over 50 books, and for many years wrote monthly columns for BBC Wildlife and Wanderlust magazine. His widely acclaimed photography is used throughout the world, and for the fifth year running he will chair the panel for the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. Mark has been voted as one of the world’s most influential conservationists - another attribute on his growing list of achievements.
