Alex came to our screens via the circuitous route of biology teaching and television research. She is now known as a presenter on BBC2’s popular series ROAR (Roar is a ‘behind the scenes’ look at life at the Howletts & Port Lympe animal parks in Kent).
After teaching biology in London for 2 years, Alex decided to do some research for science programmes before having one of her own ideas commissioned by Channel 4 as part of their respected Dispatches series:- in Undercover Teacher, Alex investigated the state of Britain’s education system (broadcast in 2005).
In between filming, Alex is training for two triathlons.
